Description:

Series 4000SS-FS Reduced Pressure Zone Assembly Backflow Preventer blocks the reverse flow of polluted water entering into the potable water supply as a result of backsiphonage and/or backpressure. The series consists of a stainless steel body construction with stainless steel internal parts. The bottom-mounted relief valve is located between the two check valves, making it suitable for installations against an outside wall. Series 4000SS-FS has a compact design with a short lay length, ideal for retrofit installations, and is intended for health hazard applications. Check with local water authorities for installation requirements. Maximum Working Pressure: 175 psi (12.06 bar).

This series features an integrated flood sensor with SentryPlus Alert® Technology to detect excessive water discharges from the relief valve. Activated through an add-on connection kit, the sensor can trigger the alert system sending notification of flood detection to facility personnel. Connection kits are available for BMS and cellular communication.
